Definitions and conventions used
- Base map: The base maps used are derived from the Digital
Chart of the World base map, published by the United States Defence Mapping Agency.
- Arctic Boundary. The boundary used in this project is as
defined by EPPR. This definition is similar to the one used by AMAP
but not identical.
